A very fine Chess set based on Louis XIV, the Sun King, and his Queen are carved in the Baroque style of the period. The king, Queen, Bishop and Pawn are unusual in so far as they are seated on matching plinths. The Knight is a horse’s head rising
from its plinth and the Rook is a matching castellated tower with drape.

 

You will find in this box nine rubber moulds,

• one Knight
• one Rook 
• Four Pawns

The height of the King is approximately 125mm.

We recommend using a either Hydrostone TB Gypsum or Casting Resins to cast your pieces.
